Fishers Freedom Festival Is This Weekend!

It’s that time of year again…the Fishers Freedom Festival is this weekend! The 26th annual Fishers Freedom Festival will be held on Saturday, June 28th and Sunday, June 29th. 

The Festival has countless events taking place all weekend for families to enjoy.

Here’s a little overview:

SATURDAY:

-6:15 a.m.: 5K Run registration
-8 a.m.: 5K Run begins
-8:45 a.m.: Free Kiddie Run registration for children ages 9 and under
– 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Business tents open
-9 a.m. to 8 p.m.: Arts & Crafts vendors open
-10 a.m.: Opening ceremonies, royal court crowning, Kids Firefighter Combat Challenge, food vendors open
-All day: live music, disc dog tournament, children and teen tents, dunk tank, climbing wall, water balloon launch, food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, good vendors, free game booths, entertainment tent, silent auction, kids sports zone, photo booth
-12 p.m.: Fishers Police Department & Hamilton County Law Enforcement K-9 Demonstration
-2 p.m.: Indiana Starfire Cloggers
-3:45 p.m.: Bullet Proof Soul Band

SUNDAY:

-8 a.m.: Disc Dog and Firefighter Combat registrations
-9:30 a.m.: Children’s Parade lineup begins at Holland Park (One Park Drive). Decorate your bikes, trikes, strollers and wagons for this fun parade. Best decorated awards will be given. This year’s theme is “Keep Fishers Beautiful.”
-10 a.m.: Parade begins on Ellipse Parkway around Holland Park. Children will receive a goodie bag for participating.
-10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.: Business tents and food vendors open
-All day: live music, disc dog tournament, children and teen tents, dunk tank, climbing wall, water balloon launch, food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, good vendors, free game booths, entertainment tent, silent auction, kids sports zone, photo booth
-11 a.m. to 8 p.m.: Arts & Crafts vendors open
-12 p.m.: Chad Mills & the Upright Willies Band
-1 p.m.: Mudsock Jazz and Dixieland Band
-2:30 p.m.: G. Scotten Talent
-4 p.m.: Fishers Freedom Festival Parade (downtown Fishers along 116th Street)
-6:30 p.m.: Big Daddy Caddy Band
-Dusk: Fireworks

And, as a free event, please consider donating to the Food Drive and BMO Harris Bank School Supply Drive. Items to consider donating are: backpacks, books or puzzles to donate for our Food Drive and BMO Harris Bank School Supply Drive. These donations help people in need within our community! Grocery carts will be located throughout the park for donations.
