April is National Volunteer Month. Where Do You Volunteer?

April is National Volunteer Month. In what ways do you give back to your community?

imagesFrom donating your time at a local shelter, food pantry, hospital, church or organization to donating blood or volunteering at school, April celebrates you!

Consider contacting the Hamilton County Red Cross to donate blood, add groceries to your weekly grocery stop to make a contribution to a local food pantry (such as a church or township food pantry), participate in a charity event to raise money and awareness for a cause close to your heart, or give your time at your favorite organization or school.

This month is a great opportunity for you to make the time to give back to others. Make the best of it! And, don’t stop with just April!
