Take part in this fun event supporting our local Hamilton County restaurants during Devour Noblesville.
The 15th annual Fishers Police Department Teen Academy is now open for applicants.
The Teen Academy will take place June 20 – 24 in conjunction with the Fishers YMCA at Riverside Intermediate. This one-week class provides law enforcement type training for teens (ages 13+).
The academy is from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The day begins with physical exercise, then classroom training and hands-on training to supplement the daily lesson. The wrap-up for the day involves a social activity between officers and students.
Various topics will be covered to help teens understand police department and its role within the community. Examples of the lessons include: traffic stops, K-9 units, dive team, internet safety, crime scene investigators and more.
If you have a teen interested in this great summer opportunity, only 40 spots are available.

- Must be enrolled in junior high or high school (HSE School Corp)
- Applicant will have a screening process
- No walk-ins permitted

It’s that time again! Drink local craft brews for charity.
The Rotary’s fifth annual winter event, Fishers on Tap, will be taking place on Saturday, February 20th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Forum Conference Center.
The winter brewery lineup includes: Bier Brewery, Heady Hollow Brewing Company, Four Day Ray, Grand Junction Brewing Company, Metazoa Brewing Company, Redemption Alewerks and Scarlet Lane Brewing Company, Triton Brewing Company.
The Rotary Club uses the money raised toward donations to charities and service organizations in Hamilton and Marion counties. The winter event traditionally raises up to $15,000.
Enjoy live music by Phoebe and the Mojo Makers, enter a 50-50 raffle and take part in fun giveaways throughout the evening.
This event sells out each year, so get your tickets here. General admission is $50, $25 for wine-only or $25 for designated drivers.
Conner Prairie has announced a new exhibit–Treetop Outpost.
Scheduled to open July 1st, the $750,000 project is located in the southwest corner of the park, near the White River. The exhibit centerpiece is a four-story tree house providing patrons a panoramic view of Conner Prairie.
This new attraction to our local historic park will span 10,000 square feet and will have an interactive archaeology, nature-based theme.
Also, Conner Prairie will be offering FREE admission on Monday, February 15th as kids are out of school for President’s Day. From 10a to 5p, Conner Prairie will have a day-longn celebration of Presidents, including a surprise birthday party for George Washington, games and fun activities.
